A new month brings fresh opportunities for exploration, and PebbleGo is here to support you every step of the way. Eight new Capstone-curated Collections are now available in PebbleGo Educator Tools, designed to help you bring meaningful, standard-aligned learning into your classroom with minimal prep.
Each collection includes thoughtfully selected PebbleGo articles, eBooks, or even activity plans related to a central theme or topic and support whole-group instruction and independent learning.
@h6 This Month's Collections
April’s collections cover a wide range of engaging topics across grade levels, including AANHPI Heritage Month (K-2 and 3-5), Citizenship (K-2), Civil War (3-5), People and the Environment (K-2 and 3-5), Pollination (K-2), and Westward Expansion (3-5). These collections are designed to build background knowledge, support inquiry, and encourage students to make meaningful connections across subjects.
@h6 Celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month
The AANHPI Heritage Month collections invite students to explore influential figures and inspiring stories while building research and critical thinking skills.
After reading the Dwayne Johnson PebbleGo article, students can write down questions they have as they read and analyze the text to discover answers. To extend learning, students can design their own Champion Belt Buckle using the ready-to-go resource included in the bundle and materials available at school or home, sparking both creativity and personal expression!
Students can also read about accomplished figures like Kalpana Chawla, Steven Chen, and more, and uncover the impact of their contributions.

@h6 Build Community Through Citizenship
The Citizenship collection for K-2 helps students understand their role in their community while developing collaboration and communication skills.
Have students read the Voting PebbleGo article with a partner, then design a campaign poster using the Creation Tool or create stickers that encourage classmates to vote or share fun facts about voting history.
To deepen their learning, students can read the Volunteering article and think about the importance of helping others by brainstorming ways people contribute to their communities. From there, small groups can create a video or class project highlighting different ways to volunteer and why it matters, using props and storytelling to bring their ideas to life. Be sure to check out the Stop Motion Studio within the activity plan to support this creative work!
@h6 Explore Big Ideas Across Subjects
From science to social studies, April’s collections offer opportunities for students to dive into important topics and make real-world connections.
In People and the Environment (K-2 and 3-5), students can investigate how humans interact with and impact the world around them, leading to discussions about responsibility and sustainability.
The Pollination (K-2) collection focuses on how plants grow and survive, giving students the chance to learn through hands-on activities like creating a bean plant with the Plant Life Cycle activity plan.
For older learners, the Civil War (3-5) and Westward Expansion (3-5) collections provide a deeper look into key moments in U.S. history, helping students build context, analyze perspectives, and strengthen their understanding of cause and effect.
